Each of our extracts is produced from medicinal plants collected during the balsamic period.
The specific part of the plant, or the whole plant itself, are used according to
the traditionally recognized health claim
on a bibliographical basis and by the Ministry of Health.

In order to guarantee and maintain a high quality standard, all raw materials entering the production departments OTI come from validated suppliers: these are suppliers whose reliability in providing the continuous and timely procurement of high-quality plant specialties has been verified through adequate internal organizational and analytical procedures.

The quality parameters of incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products are in fact constantly monitored by the Quality Control Service Laboratories OTI equipped with all the appropriate analytical instruments (HPLC, Gas Mass, Atomic Absorption, Spectrophotometer, IR etc..) and all the equipment for microbiological controls.

The strength of the production process is the use of the latest generation automatic extractors that allow the extraction to be carried out at room temperature (or even lower), thus avoiding the risk of deterioration of thermolabile molecules. This result is obtained thanks to the possibility that our extractors have to work in overpressure and decompression cycles: in fact, while remaining at room temperature, the molecules are mechanically transported from the vegetal matrix to the liquid phase.

The method is standardized, and therefore guarantees the perfect reproducibility of the production process in its entirety. All plant extracts thus obtained are subjected to appropriate analytical controls, carried out by our Quality Control Laboratory. The controls, which are carried out both during the production process and on the finished product, guarantee, in addition to the certainty of the specific qualitative and quantitative characteristics of each extract, the absence of contaminants and pathogenic microorganisms in the product.
