Indications
Protective anti-aging cream indicated for
all skin types and phototypes and in particular for the
normal, combination or seborrheic skin.
Based on 3 molecular weight hyaluronic acid with
hydrating and biostimulating action which carries gamma-aminobutyric acid (
GABA), astaxanthin contained in Haematococcus pluvialis and the
ceramides.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a ubiquitous component present in the connective tissue of vertebrates, it is produced mainly to hydrate and protect tissues and is fundamental in the processes of
reepithelialization.
Its numerous and recognized properties (e.g. the contribution to the proliferation and migration of keratinocytes and the elimination of free radicals) are improved and enhanced with the use of
three forms of sodium hyaluronate with different molecular weights, each
of which it has peculiar characteristics and functions. Low molecular weight HA: rapidly absorbed, it promotes deep hydration with
“water holding” effect which ensures the presence of an additional reserve of water to always have the skin hydrated and prevent wrinkles and signs of aging (antiaging function).HA a
medium molecular weight: promotes cell repair and regeneration (
tight junction reinforcement).
HAS to
high molecular weight: form a
protective film which protects the skin and keeps it hydrated and elastic for a long time without occlusive effects, giving a sensation of softness with a silky effect.
GABA It is an amino acid that functions as an inhibitory neurotransmitter secreted by the central nervous system of mammals.
Its muscle relaxant activity smoothes out wrinkles, slows down the skin's aging process and ensures a progressive lifting/restructuring action, restoring firmness to the architecture of facial features.
Astaxanthin, coming from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis Flotow, is a natural fat-soluble red-orange pigment belonging to the carotenoid family.
For its antioxidant activity (the formation of free radicals is one of the main causes of photo-aging) is therefore particularly suitable for slowing down and counteracting skin aging.
The antioxidant function of astaxanthin is due to the presence of conjugated double bonds: this chemical characteristic allows the presence of a region of delocalized electrons that can be released to reduce a reactive oxidizing molecule.
Le ceramides are a family of lipid molecules present in the skin and are essential for supporting the skin barrier and maintaining hydration naturally.
They are formed by a fatty acid and a sphingosine (a component of cell membranes) and represent the backbone of the epidermal barrier which effectively retains water, preserving and protecting the integrity of the skin.
How to Use
After carefully cleansing the areas to be treated, apply 2/3 doses of activ(e)age Pro Level 3HA gel with light circular massage.
Then use the Pro Level activ(e)age cream 3HA COMPLEX in the case of normal, combination or seborrheic skin, or the Pro Level activ(e)age cream 3HA RESISTANCE for dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin.
Repeat the application morning and evening.
